Sunday Suspense is a radio program, aired on Radio Mirchi (Kolkata). In this program, various stories (mostly Bengali) are being read-out with an added audio-effect, so as to make those very much attractive to the listeners. The stories usually belong to Horror, detective or suspense categories. It is performed by Mir Afsar Ali,[1] Deep (RJ), Indrani, Richard (DJ) and various others artists. Generally it airs on Sundays starting at 12:00 hrs. The show gets repeated on the same Sunday at 22:00 hrs and also on next Saturday at 16.00 hrs. Sunday Suspense started in June, 2009 with the intention to read-out Bengali Suspense stories to the listeners with various audio-effects so as to make the recitation more attractive. It started with the stories written by Satyajit Ray, but gradually stories by other eminent Bengali authors were also aired.
